Graphic Design and Art from Lauren Ladner

I am currently working on the CD packaging for the Blues Museum. Lots of sewing!

Although this is a lot of work I absolutly love doing it. I love to challenge myself and really see if I can make things happen. I don’t want to say to soon, but it’s coming along beautifully and I’m sure it will be a great piece. I can’t wait to show you!

The process is even more enjoyable while drinking a glass of wine and watching American Horror story. My teacher always says something along the lines of: a glass of wine makes for great design.

I am currently undertaking a pretty intense package design project.
I am continuing the American Blues Museum design and creating a cd compilation.
Here is the logo and one of the posters.

The reason why it’s so intense: it’s made out of burlap!
I designed the layout on the computer and printed it onto the burlap and I am now in the progress of sewing it all together. I can’t wait to show it off.

I am also putting together all the portfolio’s from my other classes, getting prepared for the art show, and applying for a fellowship. I am one busy lady!

• My major is Graphic Design.
• I am originally from Maryland and am very much a Maryland girl. (Old Bay Seasoning is an everyday ingredient.)
