I haven’t been active much on tumblr lately but you can see some more action over at my facebook and twitter. I’ve actually been pretty busy off of the internet interning at Black Heart Letterpress, doing some work for Equality PA via Socially Conscious Shirts, and I am about to start a freelance job for a local company.
Things are going well, just got to keep inspired!

My new website is well underway and will be up next Friday. I was thinking of doing a giveaway to promote it. This would be via facebook. I am looking into the stipulations now and hopefully I should have it all set up soon!
opens tomorrow.
I also had an interview for the internship fellowship. I hope I come out on top!
Also I may be collaborating with @ShirtsForACause and making designs for tshirts soon so stay tuned!
The Fourth Friday show was reviewed in an article by Chip Schwartz.

I’m am excited for my art show today, everything has come out really well.
It should be a fairly cohesive show. I focused a lot on my environment while I am in Maryland since it makes me happiest, it is my escape. There is something so rich in natural textures and man made objects that work in conjunction with the land. I concentrated on textures in my painting process, as well as photographic compositions.
I have a wonderful series of photographs that show barns in a unique way. Barns are very interesting and have natural cycles to them. My photographs focus on barns in transition. Most were shot as they were being deconstructed, renovated, and as the earth was taking them back.
I also have a delightful series of compositions which I created from photographs I took of natural textures while Matt and I were camping in Western Maryland. I took these photographs and manipulated them using hand drawn elements. I really like the way they came out. They will be displayed as hangings.
I can’t wait to photograph it all within the space tonight. Stay tuned for updates!
