End of Semester Update!
It’s finally here, the Christmas Season, and with that the end of Fall semester!
It’s been a fabulous fall and I feel really proud of what I have accomplished. Though it is now winter “break” there is no break in designing for me. I’ll be creating a new series of paintings for the exhibition this January. There you can expect to see a resurgence of the barn photography, and a series of the textural compositions!
I’m down in Maryland for the most part this winter, which is for the best. I get to be around trees and family. As I write this I can look out the window and see the horses graze in the field across the street. I can find a lot of inspiration here!
I’ll keep you updated with progress throughout the season.
I am currently working on the CD packaging for the Blues Museum. Lots of sewing!
Although this is a lot of work I absolutly love doing it. I love to challenge myself and really see if I can make things happen. I don’t want to say to soon, but it’s coming along beautifully and I’m sure it will be a great piece. I can’t wait to show you!
The process is even more enjoyable while drinking a glass of wine and watching American Horror story. My teacher always says something along the lines of: a glass of wine makes for great design.

Post-Thanksgiving Work Update!
The reason why it’s so intense: it’s made out of burlap!
I designed the layout on the computer and printed it onto the burlap and I am now in the progress of sewing it all together. I can’t wait to show it off.
I am also putting together all the portfolio’s from my other classes, getting prepared for the art show, and applying for a fellowship. I am one busy lady!
I have created this page as a means to show my work.
Please be patient as I update this and add fun stuff for you to look at.
