As part of our time machine project, I traveled to the Psychedelic era. This quote is from an exchange between Aldous Huxley and Humphry Osmond while they searching for a new name for the hallucinogens that indicated their mystical and visionary potential. Phanerothyme means ‘to make the soul visible’ and was proposed by Huxley. Osmond had his own idea and came up with psychedelic, which means ‘mind manifesting’ Peter Haining comments, “that is those few lines they had effectively launced the literature of psychedelia.”

Paula Scher is teaching a workshop for the Juniors here at Moore.We are working on rebranding a non profit. These are some of my sketches today. I decided to take a “liquid identity” approach as Paula calls it. I have one main logo type and the icons can be changed based on the application.
